An Arboretum Picnic & Stroll

Next Sunday, April 27th from 2:00 - 5:00 pm at the National Arboretum

Come out next Sunday for an adventure in our own backyard. The Arboretum is one of the best things in Washington especially in spring, and it's in our corner of the city. We'll meet at the Picnic Area* for a picnic at 2:00, a short meeting at 3:00, followed by a tour of Fern Valley led by Mary Pat Rowan, native plant expert who knows the Arboretum like it was her own child.

Please bring a picnic snack to share and something to drink for yourself. If it rains, we'll cancel and try another month. There will also be a Garden Party in May.

*Picnic Area Directions: enter the Arboretum from "R" Street, immediate right (follow sign to 'Gardens & Collections'), continue straight (sign 'Gardens & Collections, Picnic Area'), continue straight after Stop sign into parking lot.
