3801 14th St "The Monastery Gardens"

The gardens of the Franciscan Monastery are as old as the Monastery itself- Over 100 years. Many of the plantings, including the giant magnolias rimming the valley, date from those early years. The gardens are known the world over for their roses, Easter tulips, African trumpet lilies, and lilies-of-the-valley (a Franciscan tradition).
